No 05. About

From St Croix to the bayou.

We started as The Turtle Egg, a restaurant on the island of St Croix serving Crucian and Cajun fusion cuisine. When we moved back to the states, we opened The Turtle Egg Too.

Today we offer three kinds of bread and butter pickles, our famous cheesecakes, and a rotating selection of pastries, all made by hand in small batches out of Hammond, Louisiana.

We are called The Turtle Egg because a portion of our proceeds goes to the St Croix Sea Turtle Project. Every cheesecake helps the hatchlings get to the water.

From the neighborhood.

The Turtle Power cheesecake disappeared before I got a second slice. Best I have had anywhere in Louisiana.
Renee T. · Hammond
I bought one jar of the spicy bread and butter pickles and came back for four more. That Cajun heat is perfect.
Marcus D. · Ponchatoula
Chef Joe made the cheesecakes for our wedding. Beautiful, delicious, and everyone asked where they came from.
